Cardiff On The Up!

I've been looking forward to the Cardiff City v Bristol City Severnside derby for the past week. We'd played 11 matches, winning only 2, and were in the relegation zone. Cardiff dispensed with the manager, Paul Trollope, who'd only started 11 matches ago, and appointed veteran football manager Neil Warnock.

Warnock has a habit of getting teams promoted, and not only wants to get us out of the relegation mire but get us promoted. A big ask! 

Cardiff won their first match under his leadership, 2-1, against a strong Bristol City side that were 5th in the league. The win takes us to 18th - well out of the red zone.

The blip photo shows new Cardiff City signing, Sol Bamba, scoring Cardiff's winning goal in the 67th minute. It was a thrilling match that was broadcast on Sky TV, and had loads of action and a tense 7 minutes injury time.
