Over breakfast I first watched Michelle Obama's wonderful, eloquent, passionate and powerful speech. I then read Kendall's  wonderful, eloquent, passionate and powerful journal. Enough is enough.

On a lighter  note, a quick walk down to the Kitchen this morning restores everything and yes, I did get wet! A dramatic light, a low tide, a lot of squelchy mud and a random vodka bottle - perfect for a spot of dereliction too. Yes, tomorrow is the fist year anniversary of Derelict Sunday - do give it a go, simply tag DS52. Thanks to everyone who's already submitted some pix.

And an amazing sight on the fat balls this morning! As I was washing up I gazed out to the bird feeders and there was a kestrel, dangling off the fat balls! He looked at me with his fierce yellow eye, not a bother! What a handsome bird, his plummage all terracotta. I think he was after the regular customers rather than what was on offer.
