A perfect rose

Last night at Thomas' school they had there inter house music competition. The boys have to choose two pieces to perform that suit the categories, arrange it themselves and then perform it. Parents cannot attend but we are given a live link to watch it on Youtube. Thomas' house were okay, although on the Amy Winehouse number they performed I loved his trumpet solo which was excellent and even the judge commented to that effect. One of the houses had such an amazing vocalist who sang 'Feeling Good' so well that it would have given Michael Bublé a run for his money.

A quiet morning at home - I sat in the conservatory reading a photography magazine while Gavin was cleaning the conservatory roof - I had to stick nearby in case he fell off! Not much help, was I? He gives it a good clean every year and one year he did fall off the roof but somehow was luckily not injured at all.

No rugby photo today as it is half term, so instead a rose - the only rose - from my garden.
