Just hangin' around ....

With the blue jay's being so busy gathering peanuts from the peanut ring feeder, I set my sights on capturing one on the feeder.  When I saw a blue jay on the bark butter feeder I switched over to that. 

At one point I saw a large bird on it and then flying off.  I thought it was a jay, but much to my surprise it was this female Red-bellied woodpecker!

We have seen a few of these woodpeckers around (and even on the feeder occasionally) but up until now I have not been able to get a decent shot.  The only other picture I got of a red-bellied woodpecker was when we went to Peace Valley Nature Center.
