Blippers do it at short notice

Two Bliphusbands and a Blipdog strolling through Grizedale today.

It so happened that a group of folk from much further South were in the North today and we managed a Blipmeet!  It was lovely to see Blippers Flossie and Tidemark (Don't think that's how you spell that) with son, Harry and girlfriend, Jess, Henry the dog, and then also to rendezvous with Chantler63, husband, John and dog, Corrie.  We all got a little wet but much of our "Strenuous" walk was achieved in the dry.  We were hoping for lots of autumn colour but were rather disappointed that there wasn't more.  We did, however, attempt the normal putting of the world to rights followed by lunch.

This was the point at which we split up to go two ways but John inspired 3 of us to want to go to see a Waterfall so we headed off up Langdale to Stickle Ghyll and Dungeon Ghyll.  Can recommend pot of tea, toasted teacake with butter and jam for £2.25 at New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel.

Oh, and before someone tells you all, I continued the tradition of forgetting some vital equipment - no SD card in the camera.  Fortunately, my good Blipbuddy had a spare one with her!

A really good day.  It would never have happened without Blipfoto.
