Nerine Lillies

It was a day away from the city to the almost countryside to lunch with blipper LeeAnne's parents who are cycling friends from back in the day of our cycling with the CTC.
While His Lordship and I are fair weather cyclists, they still push the pedals to an eye watering number of miles each week but still have the energy to boast a garden that looks like an offshoot of the botanics.

I rarely have the opportunity to blip flowers, but there was so much wealth of colour in the borders with plants still flowering this late in October, that it was difficult to choose what to post, but with Nerine lilies being one of my favourite garden flowers, this was the chosen one.
Thank you Neil and Norma for an unforgettable visit!
