Punched Cards

As mentioned yesterday there's a weekend of playing 'not played before' games here, including some that our guests have only just received from the major games fair in Essen, Germany. 

Thus there was a fair bit of un-shrink-wrapping, punching components out of the boards, and reading of rules; not to mention some online research of 'bug fixes' of rules written with less than optimal clarity or where there'd been some flaky translation from the author's language.

There's always a tinge of hesitation when binning the now-punched card frames. Have we got all the components out? I've just paid for this cardboard, do I really just throw some of it away?

Anyway, they make for an art'y emergency blip.
