The result.

Back to the usual Saturday routine of making sure the Lodge is spotless and the welcome pack in place for the incoming guests.  However I couldn't resist taking a shot of our handiwork after I had given it a final wash down to get the last of the sawdust etc off.  The different colours are due to various stages of drying but at least this surface is non slip unlike the wood.

The day was rounded off by dinner with a couple of friends who have returned to Penrith after 42 years.  We have bumped into each other once or twice over the years but a good "catch up" was long over due.  A great night.
