Lesser Sand Plover

I think this bird is trying to say 'I'm pretty cute too' as the pair of Bee-eaters proved to be quite popular, thanks to their posing so beautifully for me and their gorgeous colours and plumage. Thank you very much for all your hearts and stars, plus all your interest in my birds of Oman. I think I can truthfully say Blipfoto has helped me to take better bird portraits and I so enjoy trying to bring a different bird photo everyday to my collection. Today it's a Common Lesser Plover, but a really sweet one and he really does look as though he's trying to appeal to me for a portrait photo on Blipfoto and all that fame!
