The Secret World of Orchids

This is about as much as I could muster today. Not been home long from the shops.
Looking for fencing to keep the little guys in and other bits that we will need when we move.....which....all things going to plan will be the beginning of next month.....seems that things don't move very fast in this neck of the woods...well for us anyway.
The weekend was all about packing more stuff....we are now 60% there......phew!

Today I trod on a rusty old drawing pin...I thought I would need pliers to get the thing out......as I was yanking on it I thought i was going to faint....its the same foot that is just healing from the break...jeez!

Upshot...after walking around a huge hardware store for hours my foot is swollen....and I am feeling a bit miserable...almost in tears on the way home.

Still no luck on the internet front...infact everytime I talk to someone the prognosis gets worse........'could be years till you can get it at your place'.....jeez!....I am still on the case though and finding out a lot about the inner workings of phone lines. I am wondering how not having internet will impact our life...how to turn it around into a positive...to be honest I cannot seem to get to that stage yet.
I am wondering how it will impact my Blipping....for sure I think Im going to have to cough up an arm and a leg and get mobile internet....see if that can do the job.

Anyway enough of my woes for the day....going to have to take some painkillers and put my foot up.

Have to say here I am still feeling very grateful and blessed...all the  most important things are in place...except for my little dog Rumi is starting to scratch again...I am going to have to keep a close eye on him.......he has such a specialised diet there is nothing I could really change for him.........I am at a loss about what causes it...it makes me so sad to see him in such an uncomfortable and irritated state. I am getting good at getting to the bottom of things.

“You wander from room to room
Hunting for the diamond necklace
That is already around your neck!”

- Rumi (not the dog)
