A Walk

by the River Lambourn this morning :)

After my appointment with the Agency this morning, I did a bit of shopping and then came home via the river which is just down the road from me.  This is my River which has featured in my riverseries and talesoftheriverbank :)

It was a beautiful morning and I walked more than I meant to but even more I saw my first ever kingfisher in flight, and guess what, I missed capturing him on camera by a few seconds!  I'd never heard the sound of a kingfisher before, but when I got back I found a link to the RSPB and now I know the sound to listen for :)
