Wrecked Again

Back on the water again today, paddling. I don't think I've been able to get out in the kayak since the middle of July. The weather was rather grey, but the water glassy smooth for most of the time, and so enjoyable to be out there again. 

We stopped at the wrecks on Quail Island for a morning cuppa. I've never seen this large wreck so exposed before - the tides are extreme at present, with the coming full moon.

I've put another image into Extras. The view looking towards Lyttelton Harbour heads looked so serene, and I loved the wispy cloud hanging in the sky. I wasn't sure which image to blip!
