Dozing dog

A quiet day - a bit of dog walking, homework, baking, reading etc.  Just finished reading the thought provoking 'They Shoot Horses Don't They' by Horace McCoy - describing a time (American Depression) when people entertained themselves by watching the misery of others...in this case a marathon dance competition....

We are still doing it aren't we?  The reality TV and game shows and the imagined extreme future of The Hunger Games.

The new series of 'I'm a Celebrity...' starts tonight, and yep, we'll be watching....
