Late afternoon and my attention was caught by the lovely soft colours in Ayton Wood. My camera wasn't as selective as my eyes as of course it emphasises the foreground, which reminds me that so far we've not seen the Mistle Thrushes that usually take over this tree until it's stripped of all berries.
A bit of drama to start the morning as the central heating uttered funny gurgling noises. In the end I decided it had to be turned off. Fortunately we have a wood burning stove and an electric shower, so we've stayed warm and clean.
