Tiny Tuesday - Mineral Crystals

Not much going on today - I don't have the get up and go to do anything - and to be honest I think I may actually be bored! 

Done loads of washing (that is how bored I am....) made a batch of soup and had a couple of walks - one with the dog and one without...

Today's shot was taken along side one of the roads into and out of the village - the road was blasted out of solid rock - and the 'cutting' has exposed layers (like veins) of a light coloured mineral. It varies in colour from clear to white, black to grey and some brown and yellows (see extra).

To give an idea of the size - the area shown is roughly the size of a 20p coin - about 2cm
