A New Neighbour

We have been without our car for almost a week already so we have stayed in our neighbourhood instead of getting in the car and going further for our walkies. It's been good. We've been meeting old friends and new friends.

Today I met Tess! She's a Cocker Spaniel and is only 3 1/2 months old. Tess lives a few houses down on our road so I hope I see more of her. She seems very nice even though a little bouncy!!

We went to our park again and checked out the tree with the golden leaves. Even more leaves have fallen off in the last couple of days but many are hanging on for dear life! Pretty soon the tree will be bare.

Then! We saw something we don't normally see in the park - a CAT!! Help! I was NOT happy! For some reason Mum felt the need to go and say hello and she even TOUCHED him and scratched behind his ears. Whaaaat? Was that really necessary??

FINALLY our car got fixed today. Even though we had to wait several days for the parts, they weren't expensive and that made mum very happy. I've asked Mum if we can keep walking nearby even though we have our car back. I like our park - until it starts raining all the time and becomes a lake again!
