Mono Monday - Illuminate

What a great thing is Mono Monday on a day like this.  Storm Angus is keeping us inside so a mono subject search is under way.

Illuminate is a fairly easy one.  This torch has a bit of history.  A couple of years ago we flew to Namibia with British Airways.   Due to some technical fault the in-flight entertainment wasn't working and as a result we were given compensation by BA.  This was in the form of vouchers to the value of about £60 I think. These had to be spent in the BA souvenir store.  Most of the stuff in the catalogue was rubbish but this torch caught our fancy.  It is rechargeable and amazingly bright.  However good,  I wouldn't have spent £60 on one but with the vouchers it seemed reasonable compensation for not being able to watch movies for a few hours.

We love this torch and use it all the time.

I also got compensation from BA when we flew back from China earlier this year.  Due to a delay we got a cheque for over £900 that time.
