7th Inning Stretch

I doubt this Acorn Woodpecker was singing Take Me Out to the Ballgame with a bunch of kids, but it does seem to be tired and achy from all that pecking and hoarding acorns for the winter. I guess that's what Acorn  woodpeckers do, though.

I've never caught the perfect shot of a bird with it's wings spread.  Maybe this isn't it, either.  This is, however, an amazing view of a wonderfully unique bird.
