Mist

As the picture shows, it is a day for staying indoors, which is just as well as there was quite a lot of Formula One, practice and qualifying to watch on TV. The mist has not cleared and it has been cold, which is why I have included an extra picture of a starling, on the feeder, fluffing up its feathers. If you look closely you can also see two birds in the main picture, I cannot identify the one on the bottom left, but the one flying past the tree is definitely a magpie.

The garage rang at 0830 hours this morning to say they had been able to start my car, but that it was likely to be one of two things; both expensive! They are going to have a good look on Monday and then I have to decide whether to retire her or get her fixed. She is due an MOT and if a lot of work needs to be done for that then it is likely that she will be retired; she is after all twenty-one and a half years old.
