Guadalajara Panorama

Half way home after two weeks in Puerto Vallarta brought us to Guadalajara. After our experience with the blockade on the way down through Manzanillo, we decided to stick to more major highways on the way back, even though it is 100 km further and costs an additional $50 usd in tolls. Made it to the far side of Guadalajara, relative to Puerto Vallarta, after an uneventful four and a half hour drive up from PV. Our hotel is located in a shopping complex with a Wings Army, Dominos, and Soriana shopping center. Wings Army for dinner, Soriana for dessert. Felt good to be out of the car, but it will be another six hours sitting tomorrow.
