Welcoming Rose!

When we set off for Whitby a week ago yesterday this rose had been in bud for a long time. I thought the weather was too cold for it ever to open (and of course I should have pruned the roses by now anyway!). However when we arrived home yesterday evening it was open and waiting to welcome us back. It has clearly suffered a little in the heavy rain a few days ago but it was still nice to see it.
