Chester Cathedral: Christmas Tree Festival

A late blip as we've just arrived back home.

This morning we visited Chester Cathedral, and enjoyed the Christmas Tree Festival which they're holding at the moment. All around the cloisters are Christmas trees (about 30 in all), decorated either by local businesses or local schools.

We really liked the school ones as most of them had wish messages on them. The best was the one which is 3rd from the left in the main picture, where the children had drawn faces or written their wishes on baubles. I've provided a selection of these around the edge of this composite photo. Some are quite profound and touching, others very amusing!
