Early Morning Crew

Official play doesn’t start at SOB until 8:00 or 8:30, but there is always a group of players on the beach by 7:15 for some warm-up games. It started with four of us, one net of doubles, and has grown over the week to sometimes five or six nets of various abilities. I am always on the court during these morning sessions, sometimes they are the only games I am able to play all day, but occasionally I take a break to capture a few photos as that is why I am here. Nine of the thirteen nets we set up Friday are visible in this photo. All too soon we will be taking them down, but for now they are getting lots of use.
