I've blipped about Walter a few times before. He was killed at Passchendaele 99 years ago on the 25th of November. I wanted to take a picture in his memory but I had a really busy day on Friday (CBT in the morning and then over to Leeds) and couldn't gather my thoughts. I took this of the war memorial in Myrtle Park. I loved how the light was shining through the poppies.

It will be 100 years next year and I really want to go to Ypres and visit his grave.

RIP Walter. Not forgotten x
