The Great Hall

I don't blip work things as a general rule, but this morning's event was held in a rather splendid venue. Lot's of empty seats here - people were still arriving.

Colleagues from Europe and the Americas attending were certainly impressed by what a presenter called "one of the world's great rooms". The Ford Maddox Brown murals are certainly unique.


Greater Manchester is now inaugurated into the 100 Resilient Cities network, promoted by the Rothschild Foundation. Quite an accolade, and around an area of key importance.
