Birthday Cake

Oh, Nigella, you'd better have got this right or my reputation as a domestic goddess will be in tatters!

The cake felt very soggy underneath as I took it off the wire rack but I'm hoping it will be OK, nice and moist. I've made it twice before. 

The table is laid, now all we need is someone to come and eat it!
