Above And Beyond...

Ochrwyth Stars

This afternoon I went to the Cardiff City v Brighton match which was a case second from top (Brighton) plays second from bottom. It ended 0-0; Cardiff played well and made Brighton look ordinary; there was no winning goal to photograph.

Being blipless, I had a hot meal and cuppa, and headed up to the top of Ochrwyth mountain which has views over Cardiff and Caerphilly. The cold weather made the sky cloudless, and the waning moon was helpful.

However, the glow from the Welsh capital and Caerphilly town wasn't so helpful and I've had to tone map it down. The result is that I rather like the abundance of stars against the lone tree with the lights below.
