Thank you to all those who offered words of encouragement yesterday; they mean a good deal to me and gave me a boost.

I had a day of trying (and failing) to catch up on tasks at home and much more fun, putting together a calendar of my best blips. I didn't go out until after dark but enjoyed watching lots of garden birds from the kitchen window.

Peter played in a concert this evening with the Herts Philharmonia. It was a fun and popular Christmas programme but they must have forgotten to advertise it as I was one of only 33 audience members. Given we were expected to sing Land of Hope & Glory, Jerusalem etc along with flag waving and clapping we were a bit light on volume!
