My gorgeous girl at GreenWood Forest Park

My 5 year old chose our last day out with a trip to GreenWood Forest Park which is an eco friendly amusement park hiding in the forest between Bangor and Caernarvon. All the rides were people powered including the Green Dragon roller coaster this picture was taken on. The weight of the waiting rider made a funicular drop which raised the roller coaster back to the top of its run. Apparently if enough people are in the funicular it actually generates surplus electricity!

We all enjoyed ourselves with activities like the Barefoot Trail, go karts, Jungle boat ride, Tree Tower climbing frame, longbow, crocodile maze. Altogether a lovely place to spend the day with 3 generations and children of primary age or younger.

Back to a last night BBQ and marshmallows with one of the other families on our campsite and a beautiful sunset.
