Back in the Saddle

Looking back on my Blips, I think this might be the first time Angie has ridden since the end of October. The horrible wet cold weather and  her being unwell for a couple of weeks has kept her grounded,

This morning when she went out to wake the horses, found our 31 year old OAP Asyr again lying in his box unable to stand up. She got me out of my slumber and then with a push and shove we managed to get him up on all fours. Luckily this situation which has now happened a few times has always been when we are both around. Not easy if one is alone.

Then she set about Sultan who was a lighter shade of black from days of rolling in the mud. With his winter coat it was not a joy. However eventually done and she could set off with Luna, overjoyed to get a decent dog walk. Angie still hasn't had the energy to remove the fly headband - not surprising after the hour of mud removal.

I then set off with Flash to Ottobeuren for his favourite walk in the Bannwald. Now back in the groove after the weekend fun, the rest of the day followed the normal routine. A bit of this, a bit of that.
