Thank You

So many of you, here and on Facebook, passed on condolences over the death of my sister-in-law yesterday. Thank you so much, it means a lot to us.

We have spent the day with kanyl, keeping him company, making cups of tea and meals for him, encouraging him to think about the choices the undertaker will offer him.

Alice, like a lot of married women was the one who wrote out the Christmas cards. There they were, yesterday, all neatly stacked on the dining table, signed, sealed and waiting to be delivered. I made myself useful by writing a note on the back of each envelope explaining that they had been written before Alice had died. The Man took the bundle to the post box so everyone would know before they sent their own cards out to Brian.

I need to save the memory of her writing and her good organisation in this special place we call Blipfoto!
