...with ornaments

every year

even though i don't necessarily have a tree up - every year, doesn't mean i don't enjoy adding special ornaments - to my collection if i happen upon them - i will never hesitate to make a purchase if there is - something truly unique or extraordinary about an ornament - which i might come across

this particular one i stumbled upon several years ago - it caught my eye 2-fold - it is the nativity which is near & dear to me - since christmas, after all, celebrates the birth of jesus who is my savior - plus, it uses this extraordinary technique which is hand painting reversed by the inside - how someone manages to paint the inside of an ornament through a small hole in the top - to make it look like this, is simply genius i think - so how do you pass that by? - you don't, well i don't because i know every year when - i remove it from its wrapping, i will be awed - all over again - as if it's the 1st time - which is enough to make it be for me...
