Home sweet home

Today we visited our house and took measures of the rooms. As ours is unique and we only had the square meters of the areas, it was nice to measure the walls for furniture shopping purposes. The bedroom is - thank heavens - roomy and will fit wider bed than what we have here. I feel very good about the floor plan. Now if only they could speed it up!

I bought Christmas lights today. Only to find out that
1) there's no outlet outside the house
2) the cable is too big to fit between windows
3) even when they tested the lights in the shot, half of them were dead when I opened the roll. Now I have the lights in the living room to give us more - light.
I might forget about Christmas this year.
