Calm before the storm

It's rained today. It will rain tomorrow. We'll get the storm for Saturday and Sunday. The expected rain amounts keep rising. There's talk about possible whirlwinds and small tornadoes. Valencia State has issued instructions on how to behave during the weekend. We'll be on orange alert, which means it's important, but not yet life-threatening. It's forbidden to go to paseo maritimos (the seaside walking areas). It's forbidden to drive car by the seaside roads. It's forbidden to go on cliffs. It's forbidden to do water sports. People who life on field-like grounds, are told to be ready to be evacuated.

So, no sea shots expected from the weekend. At the moment the expected rainfall is 81.7 mm for Saturday and  48.4 mm for Sunday. I have my botas de aqua here, but my hubby doesn't. I did tell him that even here you  might need them at times. Of course over the weekend we might need an ark. We'll see if it gets as bad as it did in Malaga province.

This shot is from the morning. We saw the sun for 10 minutes. It's rising above the sea.
