Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

kids camp: day 4

Grey and cooler today. Breezy. Noone wanted to be on the water --SO..we had a nice walk--this is taken in the field at the top of the island --the previous owners had a lovely farm with chickens and a couple cows and a wonderful vegetable garden with fruit trees. The present owners have let it all go --sad. Only the fruit trees remain... But this swing still hangs from a high arbutus branch....friend blipper Islandcat blipped this swing awhile ago (very artfully) which reminded me it was there- I knew this crew would like it.
Lest you have the idea think these 3 spend all their time time outside doing healthy things, I almost blipped what they spend a LOT of time doing - laughing loudly on the couch inside for what seems to us like hours, at either the ipad videos they are making or something on the iPod games. Very noisy. But I actually wanted to look at the dry fields and the old barn more ... :-) maybe later.... That's Oskar's turn on the swing. (His mantra today --"I'm a very complicated kid" -you can say that again!)
A boat trip in the wind to get ice cream and look at seals and try for the marine nature center at Montague Provincial Park which is closed this week! :-( Kind of a slow day, but everyone is happy and in one piece. E and A left early this morning.
