Clevedon

We went to Clevedon today for a weekend away. It's a while since we've been, often stopping here on the way back from the chalet. Instead of Airbnb we decided to go traditional B&B staying at The Moon and Sixpence, a pub with attached accommodation, on the front near the Victorian pier.

It was a lovely day, for December, and we had a nice walk along the front and up to Hill Street where there are a lot of interesting shops, eateries and coffee shops (all independent except for a new Sainsbury Local that's cropped up).

If I finish my pint we're off across the road to the pier where they're having a carol singing session with the Salvation Army.

Late News: we did make it to the pier, unfortunately it had finished by the time we reached the pier head, advertised to go on till 7 but finished 6:30, but it was very interesting walking along the pier in the dark, albeit against the crowd.
