...something completely different. Posted too many Christmas-related Blips, methinks, so here's a glider that was flying over the Common this morning. Very clear, so the pilot must have seen some amazing views. It seemed very low down with a considerable distance to go to the airfield, so hope it made it back safely.

Also saw two beautiful deer making their way along the back of the trees. Far too far away for photos though.

Cake baked, a bit more shopping done (in Berwick, for a change), Chinese meal cooked and eaten (courtesy an offer at that well-known high-street store), dried fruit for mincemeat soaking. Now to relax in front of the TV with MrM to watch The Hobbit. The lights on the trees are lit, so MrM has declared that he will be opening the port and the tub of chocolates as it must be Christmas. I may indulge in a glass of port too...
