Not so wintry...

Hardly set foot outside the house today, apart from a short morning walk on the Common with MrM and Louie. In sheltered spots it seemed quite tropical at 8.0degC (11.5 degrees higher than when we were driving home last night!), but it was decidedly wintry in the wind. No doubt the mallards swimming on the pond were happy - yesterday they were skating across.

Very glad not to have to go anywhere today - very stiff and sore, and not entirely sure why. Though last night's dancing may have been a contributory factor.

Cake baked, puddings steaming as I type, and the mincemeat will be ready for putting in to jars tomorrow. Getting there... slowly!
