Bonham Bash

Scene of our work's Christmas lunch - for about the 4th year in a row (it's a favourite of the boss). I'm not one of those people who dreads these events, because there are at least a few people in the company I'm perfectly happy chatting to for a few hours, who can leave work in the office and be 'normal people' outside, even when surrounded by colleagues.

Not too bad a meal, then drinks in the Melville, before walking a colleague most of the way home (gentleman that I am...) and hopping on a bus home via the chipper.

No drama. Nobody making a fool of themselves.

Just a pity a few of us are back into work the following day, with no mention of when we'll be set free into the city streets (last year was about 4pm). And despite starting the month full of ideas a variety of things getting in the way means I'll be popping by a few places on my way home on the bike so that everything is taken care of.
