Christmas Eve tidy up

As the light fades on Christmas Eve we are busily tidying up and the conservatory - which has now been up for exactly 10 years - is looking good  from a vantage point above the vine, which has finally shed all its leaves.   This is the first time I have used my GO Pro for ages too, and it does give the chance to get some different viewpoints.

At some stage in mid February we will notice the first tiny buds appearing on this  vine though it will have to be cut back in a week or two to stimulate that process and ensure the best fruiting.

The weather outside is as poor as yesterday - gales , rain and heavy cloud again which will make the journey to Dunoon for midnight communion a little harder.  Though hopefully not as hard  or as ultimately unsuccessful as as last year.
