Taken last night soon after the witching hour! 

This is in readiness for Christmas Day - the table was set, the preparations completed and everything was in place.

A few hours later parcels were opened along with lots of happy chatter. It was a special day having the grand children and their parents with us this Christmas and as usual there was far too much food - and very little tea (supper) was required.

As I write this it is almost the witching hour as Christmas Day draws to a close and bed beckons once again. The house has been returned to order ready for Boxing day in a few hours.
