Midnight service

A big family Christmas in Edinburgh began with the Midnight watch. We've been to these for the past few years and they remind you of the purpose of the season amongst the secular celebrations.

A good run first thing set me up for the rest of the day with a huge meal, lots of washing up and pleasant times with Susan's family.
