Table Set for Three

Dad's health has improved now he's pumped with lots of drugs! But he wasn't well enough to join us on Christmas Day.

So it was just me, my other half and my Aunt.

We visited him for lunch and later this evening. With his dementia I don't think he realised it was Christmas Day. Someone had bought him a QI book. So he was engrossed in that for much of the day. I'm not sure how much he remembered but it was just the sort of present he'd enjoy. I'd got him a book on silly signs. Again right up his street.

It did mean we had a more relaxing day as he can be difficult company at times.
