A slice of Lesley's life

Chef's night off

Our guests have very kindly taken over the kitchen and are currently preparing some sort of Indian feast for us all. Later they will even take over the BBQ to finish off the tandoori chicken. Carl (the only child) is being praised a lot for his ability to share. Even if it did take a bit of persuasion.

Though now he has realised he gets to spend his early evening like this he's quite happy. I was supposed to tell you what this chord was but I can't remember. Sorry.

And I get to sit with a glass of rosado and upload photos and blip. I might even get to look at some others.

But first our day, which shouldn't be too hard to recall...this morning we had an early (ish) pool session followed by a trip to the market for more provisions and then lunch down at Sabina's on the front. Another splendid fishy feast for all at almost too low prices. Coming back to London will be quite a shock. Then back to the cortijo for more chilling out in air-conditioned rooms and a big (long and everyone) pool session with lots more games and a bit of actual swimming.

And now it's evening and the guest BBQ chef is in position with only a little looking over the shoulder from the house chef. Off to encourage him to get back to a bit more of this...
