Winter Sun

Today was a bit of a lazy day after all the festivities but we did enjoy one of our favourite walks in some brilliant winter  sunshine.  We don't normally walk here in the winter as it's usually too muddy but I was hoping it would be dry enough for little poodle legs!  In the shadows the ground was frozen hard with frost like lace, but there was plenty of mud where the sun was shining.  I've seen deeper mud, but we probably won't venture back here until spring/summer.

This is usually a quiet walk for us, but it was nice to see several families out walking together - making the most of the sunny days in between Christmas and New Year.
