Heatwave

Every year there are heat waves in Australia. Living on the tablelands we rarely get the really high temperatures that towns out west get. It was pretty hot today getting up to 38.5 in our back garden...... not comfortable. I started the day gardening as I knew it was going to be a scorcher followed by cleaning under the kitchen sink, a visit to both of our local families (children and grandchildren) and tonight we are going out for dinner with Sister in law, brother in law and niece and nephew down from the north coast.

I also got in a short time to read and received a lovely email from Snowy from Wanaka. I like this holiday....
