Lovely friends...and fog!

The fog has been with us all day; the friends have just left for their 2 hour drive home, after spending most of the day with us.

We took a walk down to the pier to see Mollie. We missed her a lot today, it was another of those occasions when we are used to it being 10 of us, not 9. With the 'children' (Now aged 22,21,19,19,16,14) growing up...or rather, grown up, it is nice that they still all want to come when we have get togethers. I think it proves the strength of friendship we all have.

We were blessed with an extra surprise, as not only did we spend the day with Karen & Neil, but on a day trip to Cromer we met up with Alan, Rachel and the girls, plus Nigel, who had been on the beach, and in the sea....that's Nigel, not the others. For those who don't know - Nigel is their dog. He was zonked out under the table in the Pavilion bar/cafe when we met them. We enjoyed hot drinks, and chats before all heading back home.

With lots of food cooked, we ate lots and enjoyed an evening with more chatting, and a game of Outburst. It is a game from 1993 and some of the subjects are a bit dated, but it is a really good game for a group, and generates lots of laughs. I recommend it!

Bye bye Karen, Neil, Angus, Lily and Felix. We miss you, but it is always so relaxed when we get together. Can't wait until the weather warms up, and we are able to have weekends by the sea together.

Who can spot themselves in my pier photo? Look very hard and you will spot a tiny silver rucksack ;-)
