December 31st

A busy day so this blip was taken very early - I love the calendars Sarah lets us have every year and this it the last page on the 2016 calendar.  Tomorrow 2017 will go up.  I guess the pictures were all taken in 2015 and it is amazing to see the difference in the girls now.  Not the best picture but time was of the premium.
After breakfast I set about making stuffing and peeling the veg and roasting the beef.  Amanda and Mr T arrived just before 12 and we managed to sit down just after 12.30.  The dinner was enjoyed and then we opened our presents - we had decided not to take then over to Sarah's at Christmas but to open them at our New Years Eve get together.  
Amanda and Mr T left about 8.00 as none of use was worried about seeing the New Year in .. Done that so many times before.  We usually see New Year in with Brian and Elaine but they have their daughter and her family over from Australia so we had a meal with them earlier in December  

We had a lovely  day and really enjoyed Amanda and Mr T being here.
