Farewell 2016

... you were a rubbish year in many ways, but let's try to be optimistic about the future, however difficult that seems now. Réveillon chez nous was a good way to end the year; everyone brought food and drink to share and we didn't sit down to eat till nearly 10 pm, so easily made it to midnight. In fact we didn't get to bed till around two.
