Tigger

Post-Xmas backblip 6 - New Year's Eve

Lucy and Jake packed their bags and, after one of MrM's big breakfasts, we drove in to Berwick and I waved them off at the station (Extra). They caught the train back to Leeds to celebrate the New Year. Seemed hardly any time at all since they'd arrived!

MrM and I drove in to the centre of Berwick to look round a couple of shops, and then walked on the beach near the pier with Louie before tackling a supermarket shop.

Home for a short while before Janet arrived, and we all set off for Andrea's in Belford. She laid on a splendid spread for friends and relatives, and we had a thoroughly enable evening there before we all walked in to the middle of Belford for the wonderful Belford firework display to herald in the New Year.

Looking forward to 2017 with trepidation - the world stage looks very unpredictable, with Putin on one side and, soon, Donald Trump on the other, and Britain adrift in Europe. Not to mention global warming, wars, conflict and mass migration...
But let's forget all that for a while - here's Tigger, Andrea's cat, to wish you a very HAPPY AND PEACEFUL NEW YEAR!
